Universal Alarm, Inc. is working hard to keep people and businesses secure. During this shelter in place period, Universal Alarm, Inc. is open and is available to provide security & fire systems installation and service under the certain conditions deemed safe and sanitary.
The Governor’s Shelter in Place order includes the following information detailing the need for security systems as essential services:
In accordance with this order, the State Public Health Officer has designated the following list of “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” to help state, local, tribal, and industry partners as they work to protect communities, while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.
Essential Workforce - Information Technology:
- Workers who support command centers, including, but not limited to Network Operations Command Center, Broadcast Operations Control Center and Security Operations Command Center
- Data center operators, including system administrators, HVAC & electrical engineers, security personnel, IT managers, data transfer solutions engineers, software and hardware engineers, and database administrators
- Client service centers, field engineers, and other technicians supporting critical infrastructure, as well as manufacturers and supply chain vendors that provide hardware and software
- Workers supporting communications systems and information technology used by law enforcement, public safety, medical, energy and other critical industries • Support required for continuity of services, including janitorial/cleaning personnel
Universal Alarm, Inc. is requesting some information in the form of official policy from your job site, to consider sending our employees on site.
Once we receive the policy from your agency or job site, we will evaluate it as a company and then decide whether to proceed with scheduling Universal Alarm, Inc. labor on site or not.
Minimum requirements for Universal Alarm, Inc. to mobilize on site include but are not limited to:
- Social distancing measures must be enforced to keep people 6 feet away from each other
- Universal Alarm, Inc. employees will be following the mask ordinance.
- Universal Alarm, Inc. expectation is for others on the job site to follow the mask ordinance.
- Universal Alarm, Inc. is requesting in writing: What measures are being implemented to enforce the guidelines of the social distancing and mask/PPE ordinances and policies.
- Is the building fully occupied or how many people will be in the area?
- What sanitizing stations and supplies will be readily available for our employees to wash their hands and sanitize properly?
- What sanitizing protocols are being implemented on site by your team and for others who may be on site?
- Universal Alarm, Inc.employees must abide by social distancing requirements per company policy
- Universal Alarm, Inc.employees can only report to sites considered essential services following the shelter in place ordinances
- If someone does not follow the social distancing or mask ordinance, Universal Alarm, Inc. will immediately leave the job site and notify their supervisor
- If a someone does not follow proper sanitizing protocols, Universal Alarm, Inc. will immediately leave the job site and notify their supervisor
- If a Universal Alarm, Inc. employee is uncomfortable for any reason, Universal Alarm, Inc. will immediately leave the job site and notify their supervisor
- Universal Alarm, Inc.will report any instances considered unhealthy to your organization as we receive the report from our employee.
- If any Universal Alarm, Inc.employee is witnessed not following the above protocols, please notify us immediately at Service@UniversalAlarmUSA.com
